A former Texas sheriff’s deputy has been charged within the hit-and-run dying of a California man over the summer time, prosecutors mentioned Monday.
Giovanni Ceja, 31, pleaded not responsible in Riverside County in reference to the Aug. 7 dying of Gilberto Sotelo, the Riverside County District Legal professional’s workplace mentioned.
Ceja is charged with second-degree homicide and hit-and-run involving dying.
