A Maryland lady faces tried homicide and arson expenses after authorities say she deliberately set the entrance porch of her residence on hearth whereas somebody was inside on Sunday.
The Workplace of the Maryland State Hearth Marshal stated hearth crews and the Harford County Sheriff’s Workplace responded to a residence on Shady Drive for a home hearth about 3 a.m. on Sunday morning.
When deputies arrived, they found the entrance porch of the house was on hearth and rapidly put the flames out utilizing hearth extinguishers.

Deputies positioned the house owner, Christina L. Beattie, at a neighbor’s residence.
The neighbor reportedly instructed deputies Beattie was staying together with her as a result of she obtained into an argument with a person staying on the residence.
The neighbor added that she supplied to let Beattie keep on the residence for the night whereas the person remained at her residence.
However about 20 minutes later, deputies had been instructed, Beattie left, and when she returned, her residence was on hearth whereas the person was nonetheless inside.
The State Hearth Marshals Workplace was known as to analyze the incident, and with the assistance of a K9 unit, the fireplace was decided to have been deliberately set.
